The AA is a coalition of charities, professional medical groups and industry allies. These groups work together under the Arrhythmia Alliance umbrella to promote timely and effective diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.

SADS UK was set-up in memory of Ashley Jolly to save lives. The charity raises awareness about heart conditions that may cause a sudden arrhythmic death if not detected and treated. The charity educates the community about the signs and symptoms and the possible hereditary nature of cardiac conditions.

The aim of the BHF is to play a leading role in the fight against disease of the heart and circulation so that it is no longer a major cause of disability and premature death. The BHF is the largest independent funder of heart research in the UK and fund education, reaching both the public and health professionals.

CRY was founded in May 1995 to raise awareness of cardiac risk in the young, sudden cardiac death (SCD) and sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS). Their work includes offering support to those who have suffered a loss through a network of affected families and counselling as well as promoting heart screening, contributing to medical research and donating medical equipment to doctors' surgeries and hospitals. CRY also funds the CRY Centre for Sports Cardiology at the British Olympic Medical Centre.
